Cissy graduated from Enterprise State Community College earning an Associate degree in Business Administration, along with graduating from the Capstone Institute of Mortgage Lending in Atlanta, Georgia, and Alabama Banking School. Cissy has been in mortgage lending for over 25 years and with Troy Bank & Trust for 32 years.

Cissy is a native of Troy and is married to Sohail Agboatwala and has three children, Mary Thomas, Zack and Aaliyah Grace.
